Youthful Ascafalasion (Dark Lord) leads a rebellion against the tree elves. They eventually reside on an island just off the shore of northwest Gayacal.
Shadowkhan start forming on Nillaith.....
Shadowkhan scouts start arriving on Quellealcar. Dwarfs report weird encounters in the mines of shadowy monsters. Most take the stories as childrens tales.
Shadowkhan scouts begin exploring the west coast of Gayacal. Humans begin reporting strange things. Several convoys mysteriously disappear. Humans seek understanding from elves. Elves begin to compare the stories to the old tales of the dwarves.
Shadowkhan scouts investigate the Clan of the Drows and decide to meet with them. On a hunt with a few companions, Ascafalasion is approached by the weird creatures that seem to be enveloped.....only half-existing in their realm. (In reality, they were living between the shadow world and the natural world. When a shadowkhan takes on the 'shadowform' he enters the shadow realm.)
After much discussion, the much older Ascafalasion - out of greed for power - agrees to aid the shadowkhan in their quest, and begins learning the ways of the shadowkhan along with his companions.
so Ascafalasion took his great forces against the rebelling drows to finally
crush them. with several shadowkhan working against them. so in the final battle,
Ascafalasion gets cocky and shadowforms straight into the middle of the enemy
lines. he comes as the shadow of Pherdaciliel (or 'Hope', the leader of the
rebellion) and backstabs her. however, everyone around him pierces their spears
into his sides. Pherdaciliel is mortally wounded and they bring her out of battle
to die. as they are salvages the great collection of items from Ascafalasion
to aid their cause..... Kelak was one of the shadowkhan on Ascafalasion's side.
he watched the whole time from the shadows in the trees. when he saw him die,
you got greedy and shadowformed to the place of the eq. Kelak stole the armor
before anyone realized it.
